I like the Warriors/Musou series of games, although I wouldn’t say that I’m a collector of such games by any means. Of the different iterations in the series, BladeStorm (PS3/360) would be the one I have enjoyed the most although it is a little different than other Musou games. With the upcoming Hyrule Warriors for WiiU though, that could take the place of BladeStorm for me. I’ll have to wait and see but it’s looking and sounding good so far. Hopefully online play will be included as well.
It’s really too bad that no game of the Musou genre has come to arcades. There was Capcom’s cancelled War of the Grail which looked really good. Any arcade effort wouldn’t need to be half as long as a typical console Musou game either, it’s too bad. I suppose if Tecmo still made arcade games then would have more than our fill.
